The premiere of Konstantin Uralsky’s new ballet “FATUM DANCE” took place at the Mari Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after E. Sapaev. The uniqueness of the theater lies in the presence of an organ, which made it possible to realize the choreographer’s dream: to stage a ballet based on Saint-Saëns’ 3rd Symphony for organ and orchestra. The ballet is a program ballet, inspired by the biography of the theater’s artistic director, Konstantin Ivanov. The performance became part of his anniversary evening, during which he superbly portrayed himself.
